H’mmm.
There’s something a little bit off about that to my eyes, especially around the glasshouse.
The fitted luggage is to die for though.

I think you’re right. I think it’s the interesting shape of the windscreen (which leads to funny A-pillars) combined with a high-waist and low-roof, probably something to do with those doors.
It’s interesting to see how design requirements shape cars in weird ways sometimes. Compare the SW20 MR2 to a conventional front-engined sports car from the same era, it looks just a bit too cab-forward.
